WW2-ETO.COM was founded on September 18, 2005. It started out as a forum, for collectors from the Netherlands and Belgium.

In 2007, the founder of WW2-ETO.COM received it’s first identified grouping of WWII memorabilia. This were the items of Captain McCord Sollenberger. After that, only identified items and groupings were added to the collection. The collection became smaller, but with much more history. Every veteran shown on this website has been researched. This resulted in interesting stories, and new insight to units that were deployed in the European Theater of Operations.

The purpose of this website, is to share a collection of WWII memorabilia, to people all over the world. And to preserve history for future generations.
